Along with this giveaway, I have dedicated 50% of February’s profits to St Jude. My goal is to give $3000. If we sell 10,000 books, the $3000 will be a little over 50% of net profits.
Sales have been steady, but we have a long way to go to meet our goal. So I am asking you for your help. I can’t give the $3000 without you. This provides two days of chemotherapy to a child. It’s only a small gift, but in the process of saving a life, every little bit helps.
Buy Transcendent now & 50% net profits will be donated to St Jude!
Discover the secrets of a siren, fly with a hawk girl over the mountains of Montana, and flee supernatural party-crashers as the décor comes to life in this magical journey through paranormal stories.
Along the way, watch for ghosts in a haunted house, or ride through the moonlight with a stranger. Save a comatose boy who has lost his soul, and don’t forget to bring your garlic and wolfsbane—you never know when the shadows will snag you.
Transcendent includes eight stories of magic, love, death, and choice by some of the newest names in young adult fiction.
If we reach our goal of 10,000 book sales, I will give away a 2nd Kindle Fire in celebration!

I would love to have any kind of Kindle, especially a Kindle Fire. I mistakenly bought an off brand e-reader to save money. What a mistake, especially since now Kindles are less than what I paid.
ReplyDeleteI would have bought the book even without the chance to win the Kindle Fire but that is a great bonus and your giving to St Judes in very generous it is a very worthy cause.
ReplyDeleteThe giveaway is wonderful but not half as much as your support for St. Jude's!
ReplyDeleteLove your support for St. Jude - I used to live in Memphis and know how important they are to so many people. Count me in for the contest for a Kindle Fire.
ReplyDeleteI don't "do" magical or paranormal, it is against bible treaching but wish you well

ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful that you are donating to St. Jude's. An excellent cause!
ReplyDeleteJust bought it. Glad you're helping out St Jude. In the fifth grade my best friend died there, but the doctors and nurses did all they could. Still remember the phone call. Now I have 2 daughters, 6&8 years old. Scares me a lot to think about it happening to them. I support St Judes all I can. I never want to see a family go through what my friend and his family had to...
ReplyDeleteWonderful thing you are doing! I hope I win the Kindle Fire, but I think that the kids at St Judes are the big winners here. :) I am sure that I will love the book I bought... Paranormal, what's not to like? :D

ReplyDeleteJust bought Transcendent: Tales of the Paranormal for the Kindle app on my droid. Now if you'll just hurry up and draw my name for the Fire, we'll be golden! ;~)
ReplyDeleteI had already bought the Kindle version of Transcendent (and since I don't own a Kindle, I had it sent to my mom's - lol!) but I bought the paper version just now to support the authors and this great cause! (Okay, and also in hopes of winning a Kindle Fire! Lol!)
ReplyDeleteTranscendent sounds great! Thanks for the fun!

ReplyDeleteI've been supporting St. Jude's Hospital since I was a teenager and got to dance with Danny Thomas himself! (As a reward for raising money for the hospital.) What a treat that was!
Thank you!
Rita, it is a blessing to the world to have people like you. Not only are you raising money for a good cause, but you are inspiring the world to see an established author support those in need. I decided to buy your book and I do hope for the grand prize. I know my father would enjoy it, and if not him, my young sister whom is about to start her last two years of high school and pursue college. Thank you for your time, your love, and your gifts.
